Chinese actor Xu Kai (許凱) lands in hot water after his ex-girlfriend Xu Lisha (許荔莎) called him out for infidelity. While Xu Kai’s agency has denied the accusation, Xu Lisha has hit back with a timeline and details of their dating history.
Xu Lisha claims that she met Xu Kai at a party in 2021 and the next day, they were invited by other celebrity friends to a party at Xu Kai’s house. Xu Lisha shared that after their friends left, Xu Kai crossed the line: “He drank too much. After the alcohol hit him, he pulled me to the door and kissed me. I didn’t realize what was happening when he took off his clothes. I was shocked, but he ended up fainting from drinking too much, so I ran away.”
After the party, Xu Lisha chatted with Xu Kai frequently and they began dating. The two broke up over a misunderstanding in January 2022 and reconciled later in August 2022 with plans to meet each other’s parents.
Just as the relationship stabilized, Xu Kai was photographed in December 2022 leaving a hotel with actress Zhao Qing and news reporting of the sighting went viral. Xu Lisha also accused Xu Kai of multiple infidelity in 2023. At the beginning of 2023, Xu Kai was filming in Qingdao where he allegedly met a new girlfriend and hid their relationship. In February, while filming a new drama, Xu Kai went on multiple dates with a female co-star. Xu Kai allegedly took the co-star out for drinks to end the night in a hotel, but the co-star eventually escaped from Xu Kai’s advances. Xu Kai attempted to pursue the co-star gain and lied that he was “single for two years” even though he was trying to reconcile with Xu Lisha at the same time.
In April 2023, Xu Lisha deleted Xu Kai’s contact information, but a few months later, Xu Kai discovered Xu Lisha’s critical post about him. In response, Xu Kai called her a “black widow.” As Xu Lisha was constantly harassed by Xu Kai’s fans, Xu Lisha created a group with her friends to get an apology from Xu Kai. When Xu Kai left the group, Xu Lisha was left with no choice but to expose Xu Kai’s behaviors.
As the scandal intensifies, Xu Kai has issued a lawyer’s statement claiming that he has entrusted he will be filing a lawsuit against Xu Lisha for spreading false claims of “infidelity, cheating and attempting to force a relationship under the influence of alcohol.”
