Recently, filming for The Queen of News 2 <新聞女王2> in China was completed ahead of schedule and the cast and crew held a wrap party. There are rumors the series might be ready to air by the end of the year.
Charmaine, Selena Lee (李施嬅), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), and others attended the wrap party for the Mainland portion of The Queen of News 2. Charmaine appeared in an all-pink outfit, exuding a regal presence as she entered to a round of applause. She also warmly took photos with crew members, showing her approachable side. Charmaine also interacted warmly with fans who showed up at the event.
One fan praised Charmaine’s kindness, “She’s incredibly gentle. When my pen was leaking ink, she kept reminding me and even invited us to take a photo together. She let me stand next to her and even rolled down her car window when leaving, smiling as she waved goodbye.”
Filming for the sequel has progressed better than expected, with all Shenzhen scenes wrapped by the end of June. Only about a month of filming remains in Hong Kong, so post-production may be completed in time for a year-end premiere.
