13th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) The upcoming performance by the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Hong Kong will proceed with a change of soloist, following an announcement from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Pianist Beatrice Rana has withdrawn from the concert scheduled for 20th November at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall.
Ms Rana was originally scheduled to perform the piano solo in Ravel’s “Piano Concerto in G”. Her part will now be performed by pianist Aristo Sham, who will join the Italian orchestra for this particular segment of the programme.
The department has confirmed that ticket holders seeking refunds due to the artist substitution should retain their original complete tickets, including stubs. Further details regarding the refund procedure will be communicated shortly through official channels.
Ticket holders who wish to be refunded due to the performer change are advised to keep their original intact tickets (with stubs) for refunds. The refund arrangement will be announced in due course.
