28th October 2025 – (Hong Kong) The family of veteran Hong Kong actor Benz Hui Shiu-hung confirmed he died peacefully at 2.30am today following multiple organ failure caused by cancer. The announcement was conveyed to the media by close friend Luisa Maria Leitão, who said Hui passed away with relatives and friends by his side.
Relatives expressed heartfelt gratitude for the concern shown in recent days, noting that many friends visited him in hospital while others called from outside Hong Kong to send their regards. The family said they will oversee funeral arrangements and will provide further details in due course.
