24th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) Actress Niki Chow has provided an update on her health after earlier sharing a photo from hospital showing she had been intubated following a cold that developed into pneumonia. Having spent several days under observation, she said her condition has improved and she hopes to be discharged before Christmas.
Chow expressed gratitude for the outpouring of concern from friends and, in particular, for the care provided by healthcare workers. She revealed the emotional toll of her illness, writing that nurses and doctors had tended to her with great patience and compassion: “I’m deeply thankful to all the nurses and doctors for their meticulous care over these days. Although we didn’t know each other, you wiped away my tears every day and talked me through it — I truly felt your love.”
