24th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) Despite the sluggish economy, actor Moses Chan remains in high demand, taking on a steady stream of work and reportedly renting a feng shui‑favoured Mid‑Levels residence for about HK$160,000 per month to provide a comfortable home for his wife, Aimee Chan, and their three children. By contrast, he is notably frugal with himself, having kept the same car for years and recently travelling across town to Kowloon City for repairs — a gesture that has won him plaudits as a devoted family man.
Long regarded with Aimee Chan as one of the entertainment industry’s model couples, the pair are known for their affection and strong belief in feng shui. They previously moved to a luxury home in Repulse Bay to ease their children’s school commute. With the start of the “Period 9” feng shui cycle, many artists have reportedly relocated to areas including Hong Kong Island, Pak Shek Kok, the Science Park and Tung Chung. Chan — TVB’s top earner from endorsements — is said to have shifted from Repulse Bay to a prime Mid‑Levels address with sweeping harbour views. A recent video of him delivering coffee on a staircase inadvertently revealed the location, where he is now neighbours with Twins’ Charlene Choi, singer Tyson Yoshi and close friend Mandy Cho; pop diva Joey Yung previously rented there. The building is viewed as fortuitous for those in showbusiness, underscoring Chan’s keen eye — in property as in partner.
A seasoned property investor, Chan once owned a unit at Metro Town in Tiu Keng Leng and, after marrying, bought a standalone house at Beverly Hills in Tai Po for over HK$30 million as the marital home. To streamline school runs, the family of five later moved to Caine Road’s Grenville House at roughly HK$100,000 per month. Their current Mid‑Levels residence on Old Peak Road comprises duplex units with a lofty 14.5‑foot living room ceiling and vistas over Central’s skyline and Victoria Harbour. These flats are available for lease only, with average monthly rents around HK$160,000.
Even as his career thrives — buoyed by his “good husband and father” image, a raft of ad campaigns and lucrative mainland commercial appearances — Chan is said to keep a tight rein on personal outlays. Recently, after returning briefly to his new home in the early afternoon, he drove to a Kowloon City garage, dressed simply and wearing a mask, to arrange repairs before hailing a taxi back.
Aimee Chan has largely stepped back from on‑screen work since having children, focusing on family life while occasionally partnering Moses for commercials and events. After a recent engagement, Moses drove home alone while Aimee travelled by seven‑seater to To Kwa Wan, where an assistant picked up takeaway before she returned to deliver dinner to her husband and children. Observers noted she appeared slightly fuller‑figured of late — perhaps a reflection of contentment in their plush new home.
