27th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) The No. 5 alarm blaze at Wang Fuk Court’s Wang Cheong House on Tai Po Road, Tai Po, raged into the morning, spreading into multiple flats and leaving a trail of deaths and injuries. Among those affected is Miss Hong Kong 2020, Lisa‑Marie Tse, who revealed that her grandmother’s home was inside the block at the heart of the disaster. Sharing footage of the unfolding emergency, Tse said she watched, helpless, as her grandmother’s flat was reduced to ashes, calling it “a truly heartbreaking day”.

In time‑limited social media posts recorded at the scene, Tse captured dramatic images of an apartment engulfed in flames—identified as her grandmother’s residence. She wrote that her thoughts and prayers were with the deceased, the injured and everyone who had lost their homes. Beyond expressing grief, she reposted rescue and relief information to assist other affected residents and wished that all displaced families would swiftly receive shelter and support.

Providing an update later, Tse confirmed that no family members were at home when the fire broke out and that her relatives were safe. She again extended her deepest condolences and prayers to all those impacted by the tragedy.
