M+ Museum celebrates its fourth anniversary with a complimentary open day for the public on November 9th

27th October 2025 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong’s M+ museum will throw open its doors for a complimentary day of art and activities on Sunday, 9th November 2025, to celebrate its fourth anniversary. The institution has announced free admission to its major exhibitions from 10am until 8pm as a gesture of gratitude for public support.

Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of the museum’s holdings without charge. The free-access exhibitions include “M+ Sigg Collection: Inner Worlds” etc. These displays showcase the diversity of the museum’s collection, presenting works from various periods and artistic styles. Access will be granted via the Artist Square Entrance only, with other entry points closed for the day, and queues are anticipated.

The anniversary offering extends beyond the galleries with a full schedule of free public programmes. These include guided tours, focused talks, and a family-friendly activity titled “Playtime for Families: Dream Playground.” Furthermore, the M+ Cinema will host a complimentary screening programme featuring documentary profiles of artists Judy Chicago, Lygia Clark, and Marta Minujín, with showings at 10:00, 12:40, and 15:20.
