After stops in Guangzhou, Foshan, and Shenzhen, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) held the fourth leg of her Remember < Remember記得> concert tour in Huizhou, China. Although it was her first time visiting Huizhou, Linda was visibly moved by the enthusiastic crowd at the venue.
The highlight of the night came when Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) joined Linda on stage to perform the duet “It’s All Your Fault” (都是你的錯). The two previously starred in Brother’s Keeper (巨輪), which became a modern classic. Their long-awaited reunion on stage brought back a flood of memories for fans.
Brother’s Keeper premiered in 2013 and was a major hit in ratings and word-of-mouth. Years later, the beloved on-screen duo reunited once again. Linda shared, “The last time I sang on stage with Ruco was around 10 years ago during a show in the United States. We haven’t seen each other since.” She said the performance brought back many memories from filming.
Linda praised Ruco as a detailed and serious actor, someone whom she has always deeply admired. “When I first met Ruco, I thought he was like a mix of Jacky Cheung (張學友) and Superman,” Linda joked. “Jacky Cheung is a singer I really admire, so this time I asked Ruco to sing one of Jacky’s songs. He was so sweet–he decided to sing “True Love Expression” (真情流露) just because I requested it.”
When asked why she chose Ruco as her guest, Linda explained, “We had such great chemistry in Brother’s Keeper and I wanted to bring back these memories for the audience. I also think Ruco sings really well.” Ruco had accepted the invitation without hesitation. Linda said gratefully, “He always has a very warm and sincere vibe. I really appreciate him. He even worked with me to choose the right song. We eventually picked ‘It’s All Your Fault’ because we thought it would surprise the audience in a good way.” Beyond this concert, Linda would love the chance to act alongside Ruco again.
Linda’s next concert stop will be in Zhongshan in mid-August, marking the fifth leg of her tour. She described 2025 as a great year, “This year is all about music. I’ve tried so many new things and got to do what I truly love. I’m really grateful.” She revealed plans to release several new songs soon, with a focus on themes of healing your inner self. “If my music can bring people strength, I’ll keep doing it. Right now, I just want to do my work well each day and cherish every opportunity. That’s my life now.”
