5th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) Italian coffee brand Lavazza has announced the official opening of its first Hong Kong establishment, scheduled for 5th November. The new venue is situated at Shop 3B, Ground Floor, Bank of East Asia Building, 10 Des Voeux Road Central, strategically positioning itself within the city’s core financial and cultural district.
Hong Kong represents one of the world’s most mature coffee markets, and its open, diverse consumer environment made it an ideal location for the brand’s expansion. The choice of Central for its first flagship store capitalises on the area’s status as an international hub for finance, commerce, and culture.
The store’s design will reflect the brand’s signature blue, white, and gold colour palette, creating a space that merges Italian aesthetic elegance with a welcoming atmosphere. The location, accessible via a link from the Landmark’s third-floor corridor, is intended to provide a professional yet comfortable retreat for those seeking a moment of respite.
To mark its launch, Lavazza will introduce a comprehensive range of its coffee beans and signature products. The selection will feature blends such as ‘Rome – Piazza del Fiori’, which intertwines natural sweetness with rich chocolate notes, and the 100% Arabica KAFA beans from Ethiopian forests. The menu will extend beyond classic Espresso and Cappuccino to include innovative offerings like the Frullato, an Italian-style milkshake, and an upcoming signature Buffalo Milk Latte, utilising 100% buffalo milk for a uniquely creamy texture.
The opening will be accompanied by promotional activities, including complimentary gifts upon reaching a spending threshold and a free coffee for social media check-ins. Since its founding in Turin in 1895, Lavazza has grown into a global coffee institution, with one in every three coffees consumed in Italy originating from the brand. Its entry into the Hong Kong market follows a joint venture established in 2020 with Yum China, which has since led to the successful opening of over 100 Lavazza cafes across mainland China.
