10th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) Harbour City is rekindling its partnership with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort a decade after their last joint venture, unveiling what is billed as the city’s largest off‑park festive celebration. From 12th November 2025 to 4th January 2026, the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and the mall’s interiors will be transformed into Magical Christmas @ Harbour City, extending the jubilant spirit of HKDL’s 20th anniversary into a city‑side showcase of lights, music and character‑themed installations.
Anchoring the experience on the Ocean Terminal Forecourt is a nine‑metre Christmas centrepiece, dressed with warm lighting and gold accents, flanked by a lively Mickey and Friends tableau inspired by the park’s “Friendtastic!” parade. The harbour backdrop lends cinematic scale, with digital displays carrying virtual greetings from Disney Friends to welcome visitors throughout the season. Across the precinct, five distinct photo spots are planned, including scenes themed to World of Frozen—HKDL’s landmark new land—creating a trail of set‑pieces that encourage lingering strolls and repeat visits.
Beyond the open‑air installations, the Ocean Terminal Ground Floor Atrium will host a Duffy and Friends zone ideal for festive snapshots. The setting doubles as a limited‑time retail experience offering exclusive keepsakes; during the activation, select limited merchandise will be on sale, with proceeds pledged to Make‑A‑Wish Hong Kong, adding a philanthropic thread to the holiday programme.
To complement the décor, Harbour City will debut a Magical Christmas Pop‑up Store for dedicated Disney fans. Nearly 100 20th‑anniversary themed items will be available—ranging from plush toys and keyrings to collectible cards—with additional Disney exclusives launching in phases over the course of the event to sustain momentum and surprise.
The partnership aims to fuse spectacle with destination appeal, drawing both locals and tourists to the Kowloon waterfront at the height of the festive calendar. With installations positioned along Victoria Harbour and within the mall, the experience blends grand, outdoor set‑pieces with intimate, character‑led vignettes, presenting a comprehensive Christmas canvas that resonates across ages.
