3rd November 2025 – (Hong Kong) Eason Chan has been spotted courtside at Victoria Park during the Hong Kong Tennis Open, drawing attention with a markedly shorter, clean-cut hairstyle that contrasted with his trademark curls. Relaxed and off duty following his three-year, 182-date Fear and Dreams world tour, the star blended in with fellow spectators in glasses and a yellow sports top, chatting animatedly with acquaintances and appearing in high spirits.
The singer, a devoted tennis enthusiast since the age of seven, has long been known to attend matches whenever his schedule allows. Fans on social media shared their excitement at encountering him just metres away, as images and clips of his new look circulated widely online.
Chan recently discussed his mental health in an interview on Carol Cheng’s YouTube programme, revealing that he sought medical help after losing his voice before a concert during the tour. He said he has been taking a serotonin-based medication for anxiety for around two years and feels his condition is manageable. With the tour now concluded, he has been taking time to enjoy personal pursuits, including following tennis.
Footage from the tournament showed Chan looking refreshed and cheerful. Some online comments noted his cropped style made him appear younger, while others joked he looked fuller in the face compared with his on-stage appearances.
