Cdrama darling Dilraba Dilmurat (迪麗熱巴), who had a productive 2025 so far with You Are My Glory <你是我的榮耀>, Eternal Love <三生三世十里桃花>, The Long Ballad <長歌行>, and most recently Sword Rose <利劍玫瑰>, once again got fans talking with her sexy yet elegant appearance in a French designer outfit at a recent brand launch. Raising as more excitement is news of her upcoming onscreen tie-up with hottie Taiwanese actor Austin Lin Po-Hung (林柏宏) in mini drama The Blue or the Other Blue < 雖然不能同時擁有一切>!
Fresh Pairing Evokes Buzz
Dilraba earned praise for playing a female cop in Sword Rose, where she appears sans makeup. In yet another challenge to her acting skills, the actress is set to play two characters, with her male co-star most recently rumored to be popular Taiwanese actor Austin Lin, after initial talk of it being A Journey to Love‘s <一念關山>Waston Chung (常華森). It is reported that Dilraba will have two identities, A and B, sharing scenes with three male leads — respectively the abusive husband of female lead B, a younger rich heir who falls in love with female lead B, and an ambiguous love interest who shares mutual affection with female lead A.
Lin, who rose to prominence in the movie Over My Dead Body <關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事> in which he co-starred with Greg Hsu (許光漢), appears on the big screen recently with actress Vivian Song (宋芸樺) in disaster thriller 96 Minutes <96分鐘>,which has grossed NT$57 million within ten days of release.
Nabbing a Golden Horse Best Supporting Male Actor win for his performance in At Cafe 6 <六弄咖啡館>, the 37-year-old picked up a Best Actor nomination for I WeirDo <怪胎>, and has starred in a string of Taiwanese productions including Light the Night <華燈初上> and Mom, Don’t Do That! <媽，別鬧了!>. Adapted from a novel of the same name, The Blue or the Other Blue will be Lin’s second Cdrama appearance after six years since 2019’s I Will Never Let You Go <小女花不棄> which also stars Ariel Lin (林依晨) and Vin Zhang (張彬彬).
