11th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) Citygate Outlets is partnering for the first time with Pinkoi, Asia’s leading online design marketplace, to stage an ambitious festive takeover: the HO~HO~HOLIDAY Christmas Market. The annual design showcase will span two weekends, 19th – 21st and 24th – 26th December 2025, bringing more than 100 designers from across Asia to the mall with a curated selection that ranges from sought‑after Japanese accessories and South Korea’s “dopamine dressing” to England‑inspired stationery, Thai hipster totes, award‑winning coffee from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and a host of seasonal treats. Adding star power, local influencer Christy Lai and creator Jon Jon will join with their pet‑nutrition label Power Ruff and knitwear collection @jonomomojon.
Visitors can expect a strong community focus. Local charities, schools and non‑profits will participate, including the InspiringHK Sports Foundation, Outlying Islands Women’s Association (OIWA), Tai O Stray Cat Home, and the H.K.Y.W.C.A. Tai O Cultural and Ecological Integrated Resource Centre, helping to share festive goodwill. CLUB CG members may redeem points to book hands‑on sessions such as a DIY Christmas Wreath Workshop or a Paper Clay Crystal Ball Workshop led by online creator Bread Poon. For a moment of calm, the Instagram‑friendly BIG HUGS installations by US artist Christopher David Ryan (CDR) invite visitors to unwind. Live performances by local singers will round out the programme. A headline draw is the debut of numerous overseas design brands in Hong Kong. From Japan, highlights include RIKA SHIOYA BOUTIQUE with its popular kimono jackets and shoulder bags, LOL:TAKAKO’s handcrafted acrylic pieces, and woodwork by artisan KENZI MURABAYASHI. They will be joined by South Korea’s Papimyong with collectible figurine charms, Thailand’s niche handbag label Walking Stitch, and Taiwanese creatives Wisi Creative (paper art) and silversmith ZUZU JEWELRY—many appearing in the city for the first time at Citygate Outlets.
Renowned designers and makers from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand will attend in person to meet fans and discuss their design philosophies. Anticipated names include Japan’s accessory brand Ui.; celebrity‑favoured marina JEWELRY; pressed‑flower specialist Schaf; South Korea’s viral label mangdollable shop; Taiwan’s handmade clothing artist TWINE; Thailand’s mood‑boosting Sew and Sew; and Escura lab, the team behind Hong Kong’s recent SnapRoll craze. Exhibitors will share the stories and inspiration behind signature works.
Gastronomy takes centre stage alongside design. Coffee lovers can sample acclaimed roasters with the Hong Kong debut of Taiwan’s pingyihcafe and FU Cafe from Dadaocheng, while Pinkoi favourite SIMPLEREAL teams up with local G Morning Coffee for tastings. Cult Japanese matcha house THE NODOKA returns with popular brews and tea‑culture insights. Festive flavours continue with The Nutter Company’s Christmas nut‑butter gift box and limited‑edition ice cream, and wellness‑minded offerings from Hong Kong’s Yio Farm and Taiwan’s Nuan Nuan, including rice‑husk sparkling tea and sugar‑free ginger black tea.
Two high‑profile local creators—Christy Lai of Power Ruff and Jon Jon of @jonomomojon—will headline the market alongside community partners. Proceeds from festive goodies, such as handmade soaps and Christmas figurines crafted by snooker player Ng On‑yee and martial artist Lydia Sham in support of InspiringHK, will benefit their respective organisations.
