29th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) Chow Yun-fat appeared at the 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on Friday night (29th November) to present Artist of the Year, dressed in a black tuxedo and bow tie, his hair visibly silver. Before announcing the winner, he addressed the audience with a heartfelt request: “Ladies and gentlemen, before I present the award, I have a small request. Please rise and join me in sending our sincere blessings to the residents of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.” He delivered the appeal in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, pausing with emotion during the English portion. The arena lights were then dimmed for a moment of silence.
When the time came to present the award, Chow regained his trademark playful charm, smiling as he quipped: “Thank you. I’ve waited seven years—my hair’s gone white. I believe the nominees have earned their success this year with blood, sweat and tears.” He also teased in Korean, saying “Hurry up, hurry up,” before announcing G‑DRAGON as the winner of Artist of the Year.
