25th October 2025 – (Hong Kong) Candy Yuen has established a subscription-based content service through the Patreon platform, offering exclusive material to subscribers for a monthly fee of HK$785. The former Miss Hong Kong contestant, who gained recognition through her participation in the 2009 pageant, has promoted the venture through social media channels featuring swimwear imagery.
The development follows Yuen’s previous public dispute with internet personality Derek Cheung, which attracted considerable media attention in 2022. At that time, Yuen had made allegations regarding her experiences with the Cheung family, characterising the period as a “year-long nightmare” and making specific claims about their relationship dynamics.
Cheung subsequently addressed these assertions, acknowledging their acquaintance while denying the specific characterisations put forward. He confirmed providing financial support during their interactions but maintained the relationship remained platonic, contradicting Yuen’s version of events.
When questioned about Yuen’s recent business initiative during a public appearance at “The Childred Ball 2025” in Tsim Sha Tsui, Cheung indicated he had not followed her recent activities. Cheung declined to comment further on the matter, explicitly stating his preference not to discuss his former associate’s current undertakings.
