8th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) A television reunion celebration for the classic programme “Enjoy Yourself Tonight” has generated significant online attention following the circulation of seemingly controversial photographs. The images, which appeared to show veteran performers Law Lan and Bowie Wu in an intimate embrace, were later confirmed to be artificially generated compositions.
The annual EYT gathering, held recently, brought together numerous artists and production staff associated with the historic variety show. The event included a special segment honouring the two senior actors with a “Supreme Comedy Duo” award, during which organisers presented an AI-produced video tribute incorporating manipulated imagery of the long-time colleagues.
A former television executive who attended the function subsequently clarified the nature of the photographs on social media. He explained that the apparently controversial visuals formed part of a humorous AI-generated narrative celebrating the professional partnership between the two performers, describing the comedic segment as having provoked widespread laughter among attendees.
The celebration also served as an early birthday commemoration for Law Lan, who will celebrate her 91st birthday later this month. Fellow participants marked the occasion with a cake presentation during the festivities.
