Samantha Ko (高海寧), Kalok Chow (周嘉洛), and Telford Wong (黃庭鋒) recently attended a press event at TVB City for their new travel show Grand Tour: Liverpool Edition (Grand住去利物浦). Earlier, the trio flew to Liverpool for the ultimate soccer fan experience. In addition to visiting the Anfield Stadium to witness the team’s championship win, they also joined the victory parade and indulged in the city’s best eats.
Reflecting on their trip, Samantha said one of the most unforgettable parts of the trip was ziplining at Anfield. She managed to conquer her fear of heights, calling it a mental breakthrough. She also shared that the three had great chemistry and enjoyed each other’s company while eating, bar hopping, and dancing throughout the city. Recalling their ziplining experience, Telford admitted that the experience left him shaken, but he was quickly surprised with a birthday cake right after. Laughing at the memory, Telford said it was mixed emotions of scared and happy all at the same time. Kalok chimed in and said he was pleasantly surprised at how much fun the trio had together on their trip.
Noted for attending the event with minimal makeup, Samantha revealed that she is experiencing some swelling in her eye currently due to her ongoing struggles with eczema. She lamented, “This week, I got two painful styes in my right eye. I’ve never had one in my life, and now two at once. I haven’t been wearing makeup unless I absolutely need to.” When asked whether she may need a break from work, Samantha admitted, “I think I need to. I put a lot of pressure on myself, so it builds up. After filming Radiant City <璀璨之城>, I hope I can take a proper break in October.”
