AIA Carnival reopens to honor Hong Kong traditions with a longer season

17th November 2025 – (Hong Kong) Now in its eleventh consecutive year, the AIA Carnival will transform the Central Harbourfront into a vibrant winter destination from 22nd December 2025 to 1st March 2026. This extended season is set to honour local culture under the theme “Hong Kong Tradition,” celebrating the event’s established position as a deeply rooted annual festivity.

The event will feature an expansive lineup of over 30 exhilarating rides and attractions, complemented by world-class entertainment and an enticing array of food and beverage offerings. All activities will be set against the backdrop of the city’s iconic skyline, with new photo opportunities installed for visitors. The world-renowned Gandeys Circus also makes its return with a brand-new production, “The Winter World Circus,” promising an array of dazzling acts and seasonal surprises.

Adding to the launch festivities, the opening ceremony on 22nd December will include an exclusive mini-concert for lucky winners, featuring the popular local busking band The Flame. In a significant new partnership, Etihad Airways has joined the carnival as the Official Airline Partner, coinciding with the launch of its new route from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi. As part of this collaboration, a creative competition running from 12th November to 31st December 2025 will award one grand prize winner with 1 million Etihad Guest Miles, redeemable for five return Business class tickets to the UAE.

A limited number of early bird tickets are now available for purchase, offering a 10 per cent discount on the standard admission price of HK$140, with 5,000 discounted tickets initially up for sale.
