25th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) Abel Yeung, son of Hong Kong businessman Sonny Yeung Hoi-sing, has married Thai actress and singer Book Natcharee Kijviriyatanachote in a lavish ceremony in Hong Kong. The wedding, held yesterday on Christmas eve, was attended by numerous socialites and second‑generation tycoons, as well as Hong Kong actor Shawn Yue, who is now based in Taiwan.
Sonny Yeung comes from a prominent business family. His brother Albert Yeung Sau-shing is the founder and chairman of Emperor Group, a major Hong Kong conglomerate active in finance, property, entertainment and other sectors, where Sonny previously served as a director in several associated companies. Another brother, Ricky Yeung, is the founder of Jewellery City Group and a former chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
Sonny Yeung is currently Executive Director and Chairman of Success Universe Group Ltd, a company involved in travel, property investment and entertainment, best known for its investment in the Ponte 16 casino resort in Macao.
The bride, Natcharee “Book” Kijviriyatanachote, was born on 18th April 1993 in Bangkok and is an actress and singer. She studied at the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University and has a twin sister, Best Nitcharee Kijviriyatanachote, as well as another sister. Book is a member of the Thai girl group Olives, performing together with her twin sister Best and fellow member Proud.
